SELLER MOTIVATED. Incredible opportunity for those with ambitious energy to bring this Grand Lady of Forest Glen back to life. Perched high in the trees sits a generous A-frame with beautiful open spaces. Power, water, and septic system are in place and connected along with the original propane furnace. Now, the "ambitious part"... the cabin is currently in rough condition and needs a lot of TLC to get it back in shape. This is an estate sale and the owners intend to sell it As-Is Where-Is. During the big winter of 2023 there was too much weight on the main deck and it failed and was removed. Through an insurance claim, the concrete pillars were replaced but the deck has not been rebuilt or connected to the other decks. That said, A BRAND NEW roof was put on and structurally engineered as part of that insurance claim. Everything else is original to 1968 and has some charm... but needs attention. This has been used as a summer cabin only so the water line would need to be buried deeper to gain year-round use. The Forest surrounds this property with incredible access to world class recreation and ski resorts at your doorstep. This part of BCC is highly sought after... close to the resorts but not in the traffic or noise corridor of the busy resorts. Family is sad to part with "Dad's special place" but now is the time for you to make it your own!
